What is the typical timeline for completing an engineering project?

The timeline varies based on complexity and scope. Smaller domestic-type projects may take several weeks to complete, from initial consultation to publication of final drawings. Larger, more complex projects could take several months and perhaps longer, depending on nature, complexity, site, etc. We will be able to provide further details on the anticipated timeline after discussing your project requirements.

How do you determine the cost of an engineering project?



The cost of our services is determined by several factors, including the project size, complexity, and scope. Our initial consultation is free of charge, and from this, we will be able to offer a detailed proposal with time and cost implications. Our fees are generally lump sum, giving you full financial visibility from the outset.

Can you help with obtaining permits and approvals?



Yes. We will engage with the relevant Government Authorities and Statutory bodies in the early stages of a project, to ensure that the client’s aspirations and stakeholders’ requirements are fully aligned.

How do you ensure health and safety compliance?



Setting a robust yet achievable baseline for all aspects of Health and Safety at the outset, allows members of the client, design, and delivery teams to fully understand their individual obligations. With effective risk assessment; regular safety audits; continuous monitoring; and ongoing training, communication, and encouragement within the team, we can ensure that safety protocols and procedures are appropriate and effective.

Do I actually need an engineer?



This will be entirely dependent on the project and the type of construction work involved. You may not be required to appoint a structural or civil engineer but get in contact and we can advise what you legal and statutory obligations are.

I own a property, but I want to refurbish, reconfigure, and extend – is this a service you provide?



We can help with all the structural considerations that may be required to of your property refurbish, reconfigure, and extend.


