Hassan Centenary Terraces  represents the largest housing project undertaken by the Gibraltar  Government, with a residential complex incorporating six high-rise towers,  car park and communal spaces. The site overlooks Eastern Beach and the North  Face of the Rock, and the project delivers 665 affordable, sustainable, and  high-quality homes across all six blocks, with a mix of 2; 3; and 4 bedroom  properties and some maisonettes.

The initial phase of  the project included the reclamation of part of the project

site into the  mediterranean Sea, offering a groin from which to construct the  development. The towers are of varying heights from 23 storeys to 35 storeys,  with the tallest standing at approximately 120m tall.

Although tradtitional  construction, the project was deisgned to account for seismic impact and the  necessary requirments of high-rise budilings to prevent sway, movement etc.

Signifanct coordination of  the infratstrutcture works was required in the early stages,

and incorporation into the existing highway  network needed careful consideration, especially to maintain existing traffic  movements.

NOSA provided Structural and MEP Resident Engineer  Monitoring services during the construction phase, ensuring the process and  construction adhered to the highest quality standards. NOSA also provided  Highways engineering design and CDM Planning Supervision services, ensuring a  safe development.
